Réservoirs (récipients)Index. décimale : 648 Travaux d'entretien Résumé : As a central source of water distribution, emergency services and communications transmission, the Penn Avenue tower represents a focal point for the City of Richfield, Minnesota. The 1.5-million-gallon water tower is a multi-column elevated style tank located in a residential and commercial business area on property shared with the City’s No. 2 Fire Station. An engineering evaluation identified the need for complete replacement and maintenance repair of exterior and interior coating systems, along with accessory modifications. The size and scope of the project was complex, as was maintaining City operations and telecommunication services for the duration of the project. Its successful completion would hinge on understanding the needs of each of the stakeholders and implementing an overall plan that would take these needs into consideration, along with the constraints of meeting the required project timeline. Note de contenu : - MATÉRIAU DE L’ÉTUDE

The coating has excellent corrosion protective and outstanding decorating properties, which is applicable for the inner coating of oil tank. The effects of the type and the amount of conductive pigments, the film thickness, the curing temperature, and the curing time on the volume resistivity of the film were discussed. The properties of the several kinds of waterborne epoxy resin were compared and the determining of anticorrosive pigments was discussed. Structure en nid d'abeillesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Particularly two industries have shown considerable interest in FPP technology: aerospace industry in automating the lay-up processes of multi-material lightweight components with sandwich cores, as well as manufacturers of CFRP pressure vessels for hydrogen-powered vehicles (FCEVs), who can thus achieve savings in the double-digit percentage range. In both areas, FPP is the first technology to automate critical fiber lay-up processes in order to industrialize the production. Note de contenu : - Lay-up automation for complex, multi-material aerostructures
- H2 composite tanks with FPP dome reinforcements
- Customized production systems based on flexible modules
- Fig. 1 : The FPP system combines several modules for feeding, cutting, material control, position control and fiber placement
- Fig. 2 : The fiber material can be placed directly on the chamfered transition of a honeycomb core
- Fig. 3 : The process also enables the combined lay-up of sandwich core skins and monolithic sections, as shown here for an aerospace component
