Mélanges (chimie)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Variations on the kneading elements of co-rotating twin-screw extruder were produced by an additive manufacturing process with the aim of increasing the processing engineering efficiency. A transparent barrel permits computer-aided quantification of the flow processes, allowing element-specific properties to be analyzed.
The co-rotating, closely intermeshing twin-screw extruder has a particular importance in the compounding of polymers with additives. To obtain optimum mixing results with the least possible costs (high throughput, low energy input), the machine is optimized down to individual mixing element. It is illustrated below how the dispersive mixing behavior of kneading elements is improved by increasing the stretching flow components while simultaneously reducing the shear loading.Note de contenu : - Theoretical consideration

Procédés de fabricationIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : VMI Mixing sets out how to manage the complicated process of scaling up the development of cosmetic products from the laboratory to industrial production.
Developing a new skin care or beauty product must be achieved over increasingly shorter times, for ever more frequent market launches in response to consumer demand for ever more diversified, personalised and effective products. The laboratory phase is critical to develop your formulation and set the associated process.
However, you must anticipate the industrial manufacturing requirements of your new product ahead to integrate process parameters that will be crucial for the quality of your upcoming product. Your choices in the laboratory will determine the success or failure of your formulation when scaled up.Note de contenu : - Key stages of a product launch

Note de contenu : - Le procédé WBRM
