A novel epoxy resin offers excel¬lent performance and increased productivity for asset owners and contractors. The results of a two-year field trial suggest it enables thin film, high build and application efficiencies while performing in two and three-layer zinc-rich barrier systems. L'acier est constitué d'au moins deux éléments, le fer, très majoritaire, et le carbone, dans des proportions comprises entre 0,02 % et 2 % en masse1.
C'est essentiellement la teneur en carbone qui confère à l'alliage les propriétés du métal qu'on appelle "acier". Il existe d’autres métaux à base de fer qui ne sont pas des aciers comme les fontes et les ferronickels par exemple.

Lin et constituantsLe lin cultivé (Linum usitatissimum) est une plante annuelle de la famille des Linaceae cultivée principalement pour ses fibres, mais aussi pour ses graines oléagineuses. Les fibres du lin permettent de faire des cordes, du tissu (lin textile pour ses qualités anallergiques, isolantes et thermorégulateurs), ou plus récemment des charges isolantes pour des matériaux de construction. Les graines sont utilisées pour produire de l'huile de lin pour l'industrie de l'encre et de la peinture, pour la consommation humaine et animale, à cause de sa richesse en oméga 3.
Le lin est une des rares fibres textiles végétales européennes. Elle a comme caractéristiques la légereté, la rigidité et la résistance et comme particularité d'être une fibre longue (plusieurs dizaines de centimètres), par rapport aux fibres courtes (coton, chanvre) ou moyennes (laine).

Its purpose is to wet the surface and to provide good adhesion for subsequently applied coats. For primers applied directly to steel surfaces, these are also usually required to provide corrosion inhibition. There are three basic types of primers. Phosphorique, AcideL’acide phosphorique est un composé chimique de formule H3PO4. C'est un oxoacide trifonctionnel (triacide) important en chimie inorganique et fondamental en biochimie. Il s'agit d'un acide minéral obtenu par traitement de roches phosphatées ou par combustion du phosphore.
À température ambiante, l'acide phosphorique est un solide cristallin de densité 1,83, qui fond à 42,35 °C. Il constitue la matière première de base pour la production de phosphates (ou sels phosphatés).

In high performance protective series before starting with PU base paints let us get introduced to the primer. This special primer is known as ETCH PRIMER, but every body is not aware babout this product. It is also known as WASH PRIMER. This primer plays a very important role on non-ferrous materials other than steel like mainly aluminum, tin coating, brass, G.I., zinc and some alloys like Mazak 3 etc. Normal primers starting fro alkyd base to even epoxy and PU don't have good adhesion on non-ferous substrates. In some cases SILENE helps up to some extent. It is called ETCH primer because it contains phosphoric acid which gives roughness to the substrate and coating being transparent greenish color it is also called as wash primer.

Nitrure de titaneIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : TiN-matrix coating was prepared by reactive high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) spraying on carbon steel based on the self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) technique in air. The phase composition, structures, and properties of TiN-matrix coating were analyzed using XRD, EDS, SEM and Vickers microhardness equipment. The anti-corrosion property in nearly neutral 3.5 w t% NaCl electrolytic solution was measured. The Weibull distribution of Vickers microhardness at different loads and their linear fitting were analyzed. The apparent fracture toughness of the coating was also calculated. The coating is composed of main phases (TiN, TiN0.3), minor phases (Ti2O3, TiO2), and porosity. The anti-corrosion property of an HVOF-sprayed TiN-matrix coating in electrolytic solution is superior to that of AISI 316L stainless steel. The microhardness values from 1137HV0.05 to 825HV1 are relatively high and have indentation size effect (ISE). With the increment of m, which increases with the increment of applied load, the microhardness values are more concentrated. The average value of apparent fracture toughness Kic is 4.62MPa}. m1/2. It is higher than that of reactive plasma sprayed (RPS) TiN coating, which reflects the good toughness of a TiN-matrix coating deposited by reactive HVOF spraying.
