Replacing the standard monomer and cross-linker allowed good performance to be obtained at lower curing temperatures (80 °C and 90 °C). Powder coatings suitable for plastics could be based on this new chemistry. Note de contenu : - Key differences between monomers
- Experimental chemicals and equipment
- Epoxy resin preparation in detail
- How the coatings were prepared
- Preparation of cross-linker solution
- Results of the preparation procedures summarised
- Superior performance after low-temperature cure
- Lower temperature chemistry demonstrated successfully

Titre : Two coats in one : Fluoropolymer blending optimises costs, performance and metallic effects Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Hongli Wang, Auteur ; Shun Saitoh, Auteur Année de publication : 2017 Article en page(s) : p. 22-27 Note générale : Bibliogr.

Revêtements protecteursIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : People rely on light and power from gas and diesel generators when a public grid is not available. A superior powder coating finish ensures years of reliability - even under the most difficult climatic conditions.
Note de contenu : - The challenge
- The solution
- 2000 hours in the salt spray
- Fig. 1 : In a first coating step, a primer is applied using the conventinal Venturi process before the finish is applied using dense phase technology
- Fig. 2 : With the new powder coating system, a coating thickness of 60 µm is achieved, depending on the product and use
- Fig. 3 : Both coating processes were designed to match each other in such a way that at the end of the process, a resilient and visually appealing surface finish is achieved in the correct layer thickness
- Fig. 4 : The manufacturer works with six main colours. When changing colours, it only takes about ten minutes for the line to be back in production. This makes coating very flexible.Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=38176
