Plastiques.

ViscoélasticitéIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A lead-free graphite conducting paste was prepared by using graphite powder, lead-free barium boron low-melting glass and ethyl cellulose solution. By analyzing the sheet resistance, Vickers hardness as well as the adhesion strength of the fired film prepared by the pastes formulated with different composition, the composition of the paste with preferable properties was evaluated in weight percent: organic vehicle 60, graphite powder 15–20, and low-melting glass 20–25. The films, prepared by the pastes using the lead-free glass with a glass transition temperature of 476°C, were perfectly flat and compact after fired at a peak temperature within the range of 540 to 590°C. The sheet resistance of the fired film with glass content of 25 wt% was 135 ?/mm2 at the film thickness of 25 ± 3 ?m, while the Vickers hardness was 12.3 N/mm2 and the adhesion strength to soda lime silicate glass substrate was 45.6 N/mm2. In addition, the rheological, thixotropic, and viscoelasticity behaviors of the typical paste were characterized and the effects on the screen-printing ability were analyzed in detail. It is found that a slight flocculated network structure is formed in the paste at rest, but the flocculated structure is very slight due to the steric effect of the ethyl cellulose macromolecules and good dispersing. The rheological, thixotropic, and viscoelasticity behaviors of the typical paste were similar to those of the screen-printing pastes with a high solid content of filler. Self-crosslinking acrylic dispersions perform well and are easy to apply. Good resistance used to require high-MFFT dispersions, but can be provided by very fin dispersions that feature custom particle morphologies and post-crosslinking mechanisms and are more environmentally friendly.
Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;

Structures multicouchesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Process technologies for manufacturing multilayer and multicomponent products offer great potential for using reprocessed plastic wastes even for plastic parts that are subject to strict requirements for surface quality, product protection or consumer safety. The key: to place the recycled material in the interior while the surface is made of virgin material. Engel has developed a variant of sandwich injection molding that allows high proportions of recycled material to be used even with complex part geometries. Note de contenu : - Compact manufacturing cell
- Confirming fitness for use
- Recycled material can be cheaper
- Recycled material increases strength
- Figure : The sandwich technology (skinmelt) hides the recycled material beneath a virgin material surface for example in the transport boxes
- Fig. 1 : The Engel duo injection-molding machine equipped for the skinmelt process, the second plasticating unit for the skin material is mounted at a shallow angle above the horizontal injection unit for the recycled material
- Fig. 2 : The mold used at K2019 is from the mold maker Haidlmair, which uses the transport boxes for intralogistics in its own house
- Fig. 3 : Stacking pressure test with three stacked transport boxes with sandwich structure : without pressure loading and strong pressure loading on the boxes visibly leads to a compression of the side walls and reinforcing ribs
- Fig. 4 : The force-displacement curves show the highest maximum force and compression values by far for those boxes that consist entirely of recycled material. However, the apparently higher load carrying capacity of the recycled material is not reflected in the stabilty of the skin-melt boxes

Surfaces (Physique)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this work, epoxy/2pack coatings containing polyaniline (PANI) in combination with Ag and ZnO nanoparticles have been synthesized. The nanoparticles were incorporated with bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether epoxy resin and polyamino-amide. The mechanical properties of the fabricated coatings, such as the pendulum hardness, scratch resistance, and impact strength, were studied. The composition of the fabricated coatings was confirmed by attenuated total reflectance infrared spectroscopy measurements. The thermal degradation and indentations were characterized through the use of differential scanning calorimetry and nano-indentation techniques, respectively. The surface morphology of the fabricated coatings was characterized using field-emission scanning electron microscopy. The synergistic effects of the Ag and ZnO nanoparticles on the corrosion resistance of the coatings after different exposure periods in 3.5% NaCl solutions were determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. All the results were consistent with one another and confirmed that the addition of Ag and ZnO nanoparticles improved the mechanical properties of the coatings. This effect also led to a notable increase in the corrosion resistance of the PANI coatings. Note de contenu : - ATR-IR measurement
