Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The European Union requirements for average fleet CO2 emissions imply a reduction of around a third in under ten years, if one calculates with a value of 143g CO2/km in november 2011. Exceeding the target value of 95g CO2/km in 2020 will lead to large fines for the automotive industry. Thus, lightweight construction is evermore a vitally important concept, in addition to new and optimized drive systems. Reduced weight also contributes to improved driving dynamics. Simulation par ordinateurIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Fiber-reinforced plastic components, including those for load-bearing areas, are established alternatives to metals in vehicle construction. It is not just their low specific weight that makes them interesting, but also their acoustic properties, which reduce noise transmission. As development cycles become ever shorter, the scope for protecting and coordinating components in their vehicle environment is becoming increasingly restricted. 3D printed prototypes, however, can help with acoustic assessments and optimization of engines or entire vehicles. Matières plastiques dans les automobilesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Continuous fiber reinforced composites allow the automotive industry to achieve weight savings that were previously not possible. In combination with different matrix polymers as well as various types of fiber and fabric architecture they also offer a high level of design freedom for component parts. At the same time cost efficient processes that are suitable for mass production are the prerequisite for market success. Note de contenu : - Short, long and continuous reinforcement
