MesureIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Le produit cosmétique repose sur une formulation complexe incluant des ingrédients actifs, fonctionnels, sensoriels, imposant des méthodes d’analyses spécifiques pour leur caractérisation et les contrôles qualité/sécurité. Les chercheurs du domaine de la cosmétologie sont toujours à la recherche de nouvelles formules innovantes, plus performantes qui vont nécessiter la mise en place de tests et mesures spécifiques.
L’objectif de cet ouvrage est de décrire les différents tests et types de mesure qu’il est possible d’effectuer sur les produits cosmétiques, en allant des caractérisations physico-chimiques de ces produits jusqu’à l’évaluation du passage des actifs à travers la peau.
Sont successivement étudiés : la rhéologie, les méthodes de caractérisation de la texture et la tribologie des cosmétiques, l’apport du rayonnement synchrotron, les caractérisations physico-chimiques centrées sur la granulométrie et sur la mouillabilité. Un chapitre complet s'intéresse à l’analyse et le traitement de l’eau et au traitement de l'eau, composant essentiel des cosmétiques.
L’absorption cutanée et les techniques d’évaluation de la pénétration des actifs cosmétiques est également traitée dans cet ouvrage didactique et illustré de nombreux graphiques, tableaux et schémas.
Enfin, le dernier chapitre explique l’apport des spectroscopies vibrationnelles (infrarouge et Raman) tant dans l’analyse qualitative et quantitative des actifs encapsulés que dans le suivi de la pénétration cutanée.Note de contenu : - 1. Place des tests et mesures dans l'industrie cosmétique
