Résumé : |
The durability of a coil-coated metal sheet is reliant on good adhesion throughout its lifetime. To quantify this parameter, MEK rub resistance and Erichsen slow draw test methods, as well as the recently developed NMP test, have been used. Although it is shown that this new approach has a restricted application to highly crosslinked systems, it appears to be complementary to the others allowing the comparison of the levels of adhesion of two different paint formulations. It is shown that adhesion is enhanced by longer cure times for thermally cured systems, low UV dosage for radiation cured systems, and by the introduction of an anticorrosive pigment for both systems. |
