An overview of the complete range of green surfactants is presented and the APPYCLEAN technology is introduced. These products display the required level of foaming, wetting, dispersing, emulsifying, degreasing and cleaning characteristics maintaining a low risk and hazard profile in final formulations. Examples of different homecare and I&I formulations with Appyclean, Appyclean Special and Functional shows that an optimal cost/performance ratio and low toxicological and environmental risk can be achieved by applying green and sustainable principles of product development and production.
