Réticulation à l'humiditéIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : MOISTURE cure polyurethanes, commonly known as PURs, are single-component, high-performance adhesives that offer superior bonding at high temperatures. Their high SAFT (shear adhesion failure temperature) properties and ability to cross-link make them ideal for a variety of robust applications in industries such as automotive, building/construction, filter, appliance, bookbinding, and others.
However, the same chemical properties that make PURs excellent for high-temperature, high-performance applications also pose challenges during material processing. Because PUR materials cross-link when exposed to moisture and do not remelt, it is important to keep them isolated from the atmosphere during processing and application Premature curing due to moisture exposure can lead to increases in material viscosity. Oxidative degradation can also increase viscosity and cause charring. Both of these effects can change dispense patterns and lead to system clogging and increased system maintenance.Note de contenu : - Surface curing jar test

Functional binders exhibiting anti-graffiti and anti-soiling properties are attracting ever increasing interest in the areas of research and development. A novel waterborne fluoro-modified 1-part or 2-part polyurethane system already meets all requirements of the VOC guideline of the European Community (EC Guideling 1999/13), generates surfaces with extremely low critical surface tensions and is comparable to "Teflon". Note de contenu : - Temporary and permanent anti-graffiti systems
- Repelling water and oil : fluorinated polymers
- Synthesis of the fluoro-modified polyurethane dispersions
- Reaching the goal in two steps
- Hydroxyl groups enable crosslinking
- A high degree of crosslinking via oligomeric compounds
- Adhesion characteristics on the substrate remain
- Fluorinated building blocks increase contact angle
- Determination of critical surface tension by contact angle measurement
- Surface hardness can be adjusted

Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : One component polyurethanes based on isophorone diisocyanate (MDI) and polyester polyol were prepared. The synthesized polyurethanes were studied for their coating properties viz., hardness, gloss, adhesion, impact resistance, flexibility, water repellency, moisture permeability and chemical resistance. The IPDI based polyurethane showed better hardness, gloss, impact resistance than that of MDI based polyurethane. However, MDI based polyurethane showed relatively good moisture permeability. Note de contenu : - Experimental
- Synthesis of low cost PUR coating
- Monitoring coatings properties
- PUR cured by deblocking the ε-caprolactum
- IR showed all the bands corresponding to urethane network
- IPDI based polyurethane showed better hardness than the MDI based
- Improved gloss
- 100 % adhesion
- High impact resistance by optimum hardness and flexibility
- Excellent flexibility due to the soft segment of the polyol
- 50% water repellency
- Hydrophilic chain of hydrogenated castor oil polyester polyol in PUR restricts the swelling
- High crosslinking density prevents the penetration of the solvents into the polymer matrix
