The structure of the latex film and the film was characterised by FTIR, XRD and UV. The effects of F9 and KH-792 on the properties of the film was investigated. The water contact angle and application properties of the coated leather were tested. FTIR and XRD showed that F9 and KH-792 were successfully introduced into the main chain of waterborne polyurethane. The particle size of the modified composite emulsion was 106nm; the UV transmittance of the composite emulsion was significantly reduced compared to pure aqueous polyurethane. The water contact angle of the leather finished with the composite emulsion was 111° Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURES : Materials - Preparation of fluorosilicone waterborne polyurethane emulsion - Finishing technology of leather - Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR) analysis - XRD analysis of emulsion - Particle size analysis of emulsion - UV analysis of emulsion - Contact angle of finished leather to water - Testing of the finished leather applied properties

Tannage Résumé : The interaction between protocatechuic acid (PCA) and zirconium ions has been studied via UV-Vis, FTIR and 1H-NMR spectra. The results show that the phenolic hydroxyl and carboxyl groups of PCA can coordinate with zirconium ions. The tanning performance of the protocatechuic acid combined with zirconium ions has been studied. The results show that the shrinkage temperature of the leather can reach 86-87°C in both Zr-PCA combined tanning and PCA-Zr combined tanning. Different tanning orders will lead to different pH values being required to achieve the best tanning effect, which is probably caused by the different interactions among PCA, zirconium ions and collagen fibres during the tanning process. Variation in the collagen of cowhide is the microscopic cause of the tensile properties of cowhide. The aim of this study was to perform molecular dynamics simulations for the collagen stretching process of clothing cowhide at the rate of 0.01nm/ps, on lengths of 10nm. The changes in the RMSD (root square mean deviation of atomic position), SASA (solvent accessible surface), potential energy, and hydrogen bonding of collagen throughout the stretching process were obtained. The RMSD of the collagen fluctuated during the stretching process and tended to equilibrate. SASA increased with increasing voltage and reached a critical condition at 900 ps. In the molecular unwinding and uncoiling stage, the potential energy remained constant and it increased rapidly in the stage of stretching backbone. The numbers of hydrogen bonds within the collagen gradually decreased but increased between collagen and the aqueous solvent, with both hydrogen bonds reaching a turning point at 900ps.
Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;
However, the standard production model has been questioned in terms of environmental aspects. Through a systematic review of the literature, this paper proposed a framework of environmental best practices and circular economy initiatives, based on the evaluations of academic authors and specialists from companies in the sector. Four dimensions were considered as criteria for evaluating environmental practices: reliability, applicability, adherence and effectiveness. The results indicate a high level of agreement on best practices, confirming the potential for generating environmental benefits, with specialists attributing values of agreements higher than those presented by the authors of scientific articles. This supports the view that more sustainable production initiatives are viable, preserving the socio-economic importance of the sector without harming the environment. The implications of this work cover the theories and practices addressed through the consultation with the two targeted participant groups. The commonality of processes and chemical use across countries can also be seen as a critical factor for advancing the frontiers of knowledge and implementing more sustainable production processes. Sels de sodiumIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Biomass material is a kind of environmental protection material, which can be applied to reduce pollution in the leather industry. In this research, biomass raw materials (waste rice stalks) were solid fermented by inoculating with appropriate strains to produce itaconic acid products. The itaconic acid products and traditional leather chemicals were used respectively in leather processing. Two types of leather were tested, namely upper leather and split leather. The fullness and thickness of the finished leathers, also the COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and SS (suspended solids) of the residual liquids were tested and compared. The results show that the itaconic acid products could improve the fullness of the finished leather and more importantly could reduce the pollutants of the residual liquids thus enhancing environmental benefits.
