Revêtement auto-nettoyantIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The aim of the paper is to give an overview of existing and potential applications of nanotechnology in facilitating waste min imization, specifically to identify how nanotechnology could be used to reduce the human health and environmental risks related to the manufacture, use and disposai of hazardous substances. Most nanomaterials are either just entering commercialization or are still being developed in academic settings, and the challenge of this project was to find promising applications in an area that has been relatively ignored. However, commercially available nanotechnology based products that facilitate waste minimization were found for coatings, treatments and catalysts. A few emerging applications, such as alternative dry cleaning solvents and improved plasticizing materials are also discussed. In addition, applying nanomaterials developed for remediation towards waste treatment applications would not only reduce the toxicity of the hazardous waste through conversion but possibly prevent future contamination as well. Therefore, a paradigm shift is suggested to focus on utilizing these remedial nanomaterials for waste treatment. Evaluation of the feasibility, efficiency and net waste minimization impact of the nanotechnology applications reported is considered beyond the scope of this report. Finally, as nanotechnology based substitutes may potentially be hazardous themselves, life cycle issues related to the resulting increased use of nanomaterials are also briefly discussed. Revêtements décoratifsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Volatile Organic compounds (VOCs) are the major pollutants in indoor air, which significantly impact quality of indoor air, thus deteriorating health and causing sick building syndrome. Among the approaches for purifying air, photocatalytic architectural decorative coating is one of the economical and promising approaches. In th is paper, we will review the various VOCs present indoors. The review and discussion mainly concentrates on unique technology of photocatalytic coatings for air purification with an effective catalyst under UV and visible light. Revêtement monocomposantIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : 1K moisture cure solvent-based PU is one component permanent elastic, alkali resistant, liquid-applied polyurethane coating that cures to a seamless, high elastic waterproofing membrane. It is used for long-lasting waterproofing coating on flat surfaces such as balcony, roof, terrace, wet area or deck that protects the building structure reliably and on a long-term basis, even under the most difficult conditions. Due to its superior performance properties and ease of applications makes it the system of choice. This product solves waterproofing problems under unfavorable conditions such as stagnating water, frost, humidity and weather exposure, etc.
In India, 1K PU Waterproofing solution are mainly imported and several variants & brands are available. Construction being highly unorganized sector, advance planning for the inventory and lead time is the biggest pain point for the customers who uses imported grades. For customers, localized solution- Made In India will have an added advantage with respect to flexibility in inventory management & also the cost effectiveness tilt the material reaches actual site.Note de contenu : - Developing "make in India" 1K PU waterproofing

Prix Nobel de chimieIndex. décimale : 540 Chimie et sciences connexes Résumé : Ferdinand Frédéric Henri Moissan, a French chemist and pharmacist, received the 1906 Nobel Prize in Chemistry "in recognition of the great services rendered by him in his investigation and isolation of the element fluorine, and for the adoption in the service of science of the electric furnace called alter him." As the President of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, P. Klasona pointed out at the award ceremony in Stockholm ; his outstanding achievements had opened up new fields for scientific research and industrial activity. Dmitri Mendeleev, a Russian chemist who developed the periodic table in 1869, was also considered, but several leading chemists favoured Moissan. Further, Alfred Nobel's will stated that prizes were to be awarded to "those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit to mankind" and Moissan's work was more recent. VernisIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : All of the interior wood finishing products created are designed to enhance the natural beauty of your home and its furnishings. By following the easy-to-use techniques described in this article you can achieve professional quality results from your staining and finishing projects.
Interior stain magnifies the natural beauty of wood by adding warmth to otherwise ordinary surfaces, Interior stain enriches the grain old texture of wood while adding an attractive tint of color. Even inexpensive wood can be transformed enough to be paired with rare, exotic or expensive wood. You will want to use stain on bare wood or wood treated only with a sealer. Then, after staining, coat the surface with varnish to assure durabiIity and easy cleaning.
You can use stain on furniture, floors, paneling, woodwork, doors, cabinets and more, interior varnish creates a clear, long lasting film that protects your wood surfaces. You can choose from two basic types of varnish : alkyd or urethane. Both are available in gloss and satin finishes. Urethane offers the best durabiIity and chemical resistance, and is best for floors and other frequently used areas. Select alkyd, on the other hand, for surfaces that receive only moderate wear, such as furniture, cabinets and paneling.Note de contenu : - The beauty of interior wood stains
