PolypropylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Low assembly effort, often shorter production times and lower-cost parts production overall are the reasons why 2-component injection molding is often used in hard-soft material combinations, including in the production of seals, cable bushings and handles. If the core-back process is to be used for production, however, mold structure and hot runner system design will pose a challenge. Note de contenu : - Advantage 2-component - when it is done properly
- Bottleneck between the two components
- Two materials - one manifold block
- Core-back combined with ejector function
- Hot runner and mold expertise required
- Fig. 1 : The various cable bushinsgs with the TPE/PP material combination were injected in a family mold
- Fig. 2 : The cable bushing has to fulfil a comprehensive property profile, which has an obvious effect on product design and therefore also on the mold design

PolyéthylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Like plastics manufacturing and processing, the recycling of plastic products requires specialization to be efficient. Accordingly, a Dutch company has dedicated itself entirely to the recycling of agricultural and packaging films – and invested in a machine technology, which was found along tortuous ways. Note de contenu : - The export of plastic waste to china came on a halt
- Problems drive you smart
- Specialization as a success factor
- Expansion of production capacity
- Fig. 1 : At the heart of the MAS extrusion technology is the conical twin-screw extruder with co-rotating screws developed by its founder Helmuth Schulz. Advantages of this type of extruder are the large feed opening, which allows the efficient intake of raw materials with low bulk density, as well as the low-pressure plasticization - both prerequisites for gentle recycling.
- Fig. 2 : From bale to granulate: in the sorting process, foreign material is first removed from the dissolved film bales, then the films are separated according to color class or material quality. This is used to produce unmixed bales. Cutting mills process them into flakes, wich are then fed batch-wise to the DRD dry cleaners to remove granular soiling and moisture. The cleaned and dried foil flakes pass through buffer storage to the cascade extruders. Stations vivible in the picture are the single-screw extruder, the fine filter and the granulation.

Le second groupe en importance de matériaux en silicone est celui des résines de silicone, formées par des oligosiloxanes ramifiés ou en forme de cage (wiki).Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Not only on Earth do elastomers make an important contribution to everyday life in demanding applications but they are also in demand for satellites or probes. Alongside typical worldly properties such as temperature and chemical resistance, materials deployed in space are subject to other conditions specific to this environment, such as enormous centrifugal and gravitational forces. These place special demands on the polymers we are familiar with. Note de contenu : - Technical space standards
