In this issue you will find PU formulation - Acrylic based, Short oil coconut, medium oil alkyd, epoxy based, PU clear acrylic based and special formulation by author which is castor oil based, which is very economical in price.
Similarly we can have polyester based formulations too.
Nowadays apart from protective coatings, PU based coatings are used on wood also. Water based PU paints are also available.
Waterbased PU dispersions single packs are very popular.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/18k_FpmQIKZmSMkoMJiEx8zAy_cSJQeaC/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=24839

Revêtements en phase aqueuse:Peinture en phase aqueuseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The author explain why UV powder coatings offer many advantages not provided by other systems.
For optical performance the traditional alkyd/MF paint has an advantages over the two powder coatings systems. However from an environmental standpoint would be preferred to the solvent containing alkyd/MF paint. The epoxy/polyester coating, is from a raw material cost perspective, substantially cheaper than the UV powder coating. However, when giving consideration to the full coating process coats, the UV powder coating will be more advantageous for time (fast UV curing cycle) and energy (low melt schedule). Another major benefit is that the UV powder coating can be used with heat sensitive substrates, like plastics and wood that are distorted at the higher temperatures required for cure in thermosetting systems.Note de contenu : - Methodology
