SurfactantsIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : With a growing number of consumers applying damaging hair treatments, such as hair straightening and oxidative hair coloration, while demanding more natural formulations, final products with exceptionally high care levels and low irritation potential and preferably without silicones are greatly appreciated and increasingly observed in the market. An upcoming trend from the US and Brazil trying to fulfill these customer demands are hair cleansing treatments without harsh anionic surfactants. The avoidance of irritating surfactants such as sulfates results in mild cleansing without stripping the hair color and without leaving the hair with a dry feel. In addition, any irritation of the scalp is minimized. A second approach is to add mild surfactants to a conditioner rinse formulation in order to improve the cleansing performance while maintaining the natural luster of the hair. Typical terminologies for such products are "low-(sham)poo", "no-(sham)poo" or "co-wash". Different "cleansing conditioner" formulation concepts following these trends have been developed and tested including a cleansing balm and a structured surfactant system with a strong refatting effect and mild foaming, Note de contenu : - FORMULATION CONCEPTS : 1. Taille des gouttelettesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Candelilla wax-in-water nanoemulsions stabilized by sorbitan monooleate/PEG-20 sorbitan monooleate were prepared by the phase inversion composition (PIC) method. Stable nanoemulsions with droplet diameters below 50 nm could be formed when the hydrophilic—lipophilic balance (HLB) values were between 13.5 and 14.5, surfactant concentration was 5.0 wt°/0, and the surfactant-wax ratio was 1:1. Increased emulsification temperature and cooling rate were found to improve the emulsion properties. Pr ocess of PIC (adding aqueous phase to the wax phase) produced smaller droplet size nanoemulsion compared to the process of adding wax phase to the aqueous phase. The stability of these nanoemulsions was assessed by following the change in droplet diameters with time of storage at room temperature (-25°C). The size remained constant during 2 months storage time. The nanoemulsions with the droplet diameter less than 50 nm would be applicable to hair conditioning formulations. Pins et constituantsIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Shiny hair with a soft texture and intact ends is considered to be healthy. Texture and gloss are relative to the properties of the hair surface, whereby the integrity of the hair ends depends on the cortex. Over time and without the proper care hair can potentially be damaged, often leading to a dull appearance, split ends and fuzziness. This tends to happen more often to people with naturally thin, fragile hair. Hair oils remain a strong trend for 2016 and the search is on for the new argan oil. Hair oils are very multifunctional, while being lightweight and quick-absorbing, they can soften, taure fly-aways, and add shine immediately and over time. Treated hair looks and feels healthy, smooth, silky, and conditioned.
The ideal functional ingredient for hair oil is a natural film former. KahlWax uses a natural resin which is obtained by extraction of pine wood from trees of the North American Araucaria genera. The resin is carefully purified and blended with an emollient. While acting as a film former and enhancing adhesion on hair, it forms a protective layer on the hair that minimizes the impact of moisture, keeps the hair style in shape, and adds gloss.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mDxROHd0JfrbGuQRaE3TXRbrMzB5JX6H/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=26699

Protection thermiqueIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : The hair is a complex structure with many variations in coloration and texture, and the brittleness and susceptibility to mechanical injury which causes hair damage, is a common occurrence. Furthermore hair is very easily damaged through exposure to chemicals, the environment and daily styling. With the development of a plethora of innovative hair care products supporting a global multi-billion dollar industry, there is an increasing need for more sophisticated methods to meet the evolution in these product innovations and consumer understanding. Moreover, such methods are also important in light of the legislative requirements for marketing claims substantiation. Methods described here in have been developed, and evolve to ensure reproducibility, validity and relevance from bath the clinical and average consumer perspectives. Note de contenu : - HAIR TYPES

Mousse (chimie)Index. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : A global trend toward high gloss surfaces exists both in homes and within I&I area. The surface gloss will, however, be affected by the settling of dust particles from the air. By addition of a high performance antistatic additive, cleaners can provide an antistatic effect on various plastic surfaces. With an addition level of 0.2 to 0.4 wt.-% of the recently developed antistatic additive Crodastat 400 within the cleaning formulation, the static charge build up on the surface will be prevented and the surface is modified to remain sustainably dust-free. Vaisselle -- NettoyageIndex. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : Recommendations for determining the cleaning profile of cleaning products were first published in 1995. The goal of the Working Group was to find suitable soiL types from practice. For this purpose, a working group of automatic dishwashing experts was set up Inside the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association (IKW). Furthermore, representatives from reputable European test institutes and delegates from dishwasher manufacturers joined the Working Group. The WG updated the Recommendations in 2005. Since 2013 the WG has been working on another update. Following a round robin test, a dishwasher is recommended for comparative testing — as well as new or modified soil types Testing no longer includes minced meat in glass dishes, egg/milk and oat flakes ; new soil types to be tested are pasta and crème brûlée and optionally milk skin as an alternative to milk in a microwave oven. Egg yolk, starch mix and minced meat on porcelain plates have been modified.
