Résumé : |
Considerable efforts have been made to develop water based alternatives to established conventional solvent based paints and coatings. The emulsion paint as a class have increased their market share very significantly in almost every country. Water-based paints are non-inflammable, odourless and non-toxic, thus preferred to solvent based system due to increasing restrictions on air pollution. Today several countries in the world have attempted and successfully introduced, water based coatings. There has been large development in field of additives and great achievements in water based coatings. |
