Spectroscopie ultravioletteIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this paper we demonstrate physical method (Gamma irradiation technique) for synthesizing Ag-NPs when there is no reduction agent or heat treatment as useful in antimicrobial applications and medical devices. As a strong support, stabilizer, and silver precursor, Chitosan (CS) and AgNO3 were utilized. Ag/Cs characteristics were investigated as a function of gamma dose and -irradiation periods in recent published paper. For conducting the research in Ag-CS-Isopropanol (IPA) by gamma Irradiation method, here we used UV-vis spectroscopy for examining energy gap and Plasmon resonance of surface (SPR) of the produced silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs). Manufactured Ag-NP UV-vis spectroscopy revealed as the gamma dose increased, the highest wavelength intensity of the plasmon peaks rose. and with energy gap in rang (2.1-2.4) eV. The effect of Ag/CS-APA solutions has examined due on human blood properties and antibacterial activity to water samples selected from local riverbank in Iraq. Overall, the optical characteristic of Ag-CS-APA nanocomposite solution make them promising material for optical thin films and as antibacterial agent in health sector. The reaction was carried out in a dry nitrogen atmosphere using p-toluene sulfonic acid (p-TSA) as an acid catalyst. The chosen molar ratios of 2,2?,2?-nitrilotriethanol to 4-hydroxybenzoic acid were 1:3, 1:6, and 1:21 for the G1, G2, and G5 generations, respectively. The G5 stage of HBPE was further coupled with acrylic acid to modify the terminal hydroxyl groups. The resulting products were analyzed using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR spectroscopy, and GPC. Silver nanoparticles were prepared by a reductive technique using HBPEs of the G5 generation as the matrix. XRD and TEM analysis indicated the formation of highly spherical and stable nanosilver in the HBPE. The antibacterial activity of the nanosilver/HBPE was evaluated against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria. SmectiteIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Hybrid organic/inorganic coatings provide effective barriers to gas transmission and therefore find utility in a variety of application areas, including surface treatment of foams for thermal insulation purposes. Blends of aqueous latexes with select smectite clays are particularly attractive, in that the efficient formation of layered interconnecting networks occurs upon drying. The plate-like structure of clays enables this behavior at relatively low volumetric content of inorganic material. A variety of both natural and synthetically derived high purity clays are evaluated for their ability to form low permeability films, with effects of loading, aspect ratio, and refinement technique described. StatistiqueIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Although a number of facts on the physiopathological mechanisms of acne are now well established, it is still unclear what triggers the inflammatory disease of the sebaceous follicle. Very recently, there has been a paradigm shift in the understanding of the role of Cutibacterium acnes(C. acnes, formerly Propionibacterium acnes) in the pathophysiology of acne.
Firstly, the aim of this study was the characterization of the skin microbiota with a focus on Cutibacterium acnes(C. acnes) phylotypes in subjects with acne. Secondly, microbiota changes after 28 days’ treatment of berries, Rhodomyrtus tomentosaactive ingredient (RT), rich in acylphloroglucinols, polyphenols, and organic acids were analyzed. Clinical evaluations (lesion counts) were performed at baseline (D0) and after 28 days (D28) of twice-daily application of RT active ingredient.Note de contenu : - METHODOLOGY : Participants - Study product - Microbiota sampling

Règlements (droit administratif)Index. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : ADPCosmetics presents two natural cosmetic formulations that follow Green Chemistry Principles. Non nanometric UV filters included in these formulations are multifunctional and efficient, to minimise the need of ingredients.
EnhanceU filters are manufactured with ADParticles technology that is environmentally friendly and efficient in terms of energy, raw materials and (absence of) solvent consumption. Therefore, the two formulations here presented, named Feel Young and Feel Warm, are natural w/o and o/w emulsions respectively, both for skin care and suncare. enhanceU-S and enhanceUT-warm filters allow obtaining SPF30-50 while efficiently protecting from UVA radiation and are appropriate options when looking for ingredients for sustainable cosmetics.Note de contenu : - Natural formula for skin care and sun care : Feel young
