The manufacture of adjusted tintings and bases is a highly complex and time-consuming operation. Since 1988, Renner Herrmann - a Brazilian holding company that operates in South America in the field of industrial and automotive OEM coatings, etc. - has directed efforts towards the generation of advanced technologies for production processes. The research center, located in Gravataí, Brazil, has developed the paint production concept of continuous production system, where all the product characteristics are analyzed and corrected on-line and in real time through advanced tuning control. Another important research project is a new production technique for bases and tintings to be used in commercial tinting systems. |
