Manerov, Auteur ; Natalija B. Skopintseva, Auteur Année de publication : 2000 Article en page(s) : p. 32-35 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Coating material;'Water base paint' 'Aqueous dispersion' 'Acrylic polymer' Emulsion Oligomer 'Alkyd resin' 'Electrical properties' 'Electrokinetic potential' 'Electrophoretic mobility' pH 'Particle size' Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Fast drying, high protective properties and adhesion to a lot of substrates can be provided by combined binders of thermoplastic polymer dispersions and alkyd oligomer emulsions. To assure their successful use it is essential to avoid deterioration of aggregate stability may be caused by different dispersion composition of combined dispersion phases, in all cases however the determining factor is electrokinetic property of dispersions. In this study the influence of dispersion phase particles, pH of dispersion medium of combined acrylic dispersions and alkyd emulsions stabilized with different types of surfactants on electrokinetic potential is shown. Note de contenu : - Characterization of an electric double layer
- Factors influencing the electrokinetic potential of dispersion phase particles
- ζ-potential of alkyd emulsions with different particle sizes is negative in a wide range of pH values
- ζ-potential increases when pH exceeds 7.0
- Light transmission is sharply decreased in incompatibility zonePermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=11015

The study was carried out analyzing the ability of micro-organisms to grow utilizing the varnishes as substrate. Microbial growths were effective with all tested varnishes and they demonstrated a different trend depending on the type of varnish and the used media. - Materials for decomposers
- Microrganisms as decomposers
- Identified microrganisms
- Microbial growth on Minimal Medium(MBM) in the presence of varnishes
- Biodegradation of varnishes
- Morphological evaluation of the biodegradation of varnish films
- Polyester-based varnishes support microrganisms growth
