Double cylindrical annular gap mills, in contrast, can be scaled up linearly. The high power density in the small-volume mills of this type can lead to a marked increase in the product quality. The high productivity obtained from a small grinding chamber contributes to reducing operating costs and hence to increasing the efficiency of the production process.
