Véhicules électriquesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : A low-warpage, flame-retardant PBT-ASA material has been developed for the housings of a battery management unit and two cell monitoring units. Both assemblies have recently been used in the lithium-ion battery systems of a small compact car. The material has low warpage and is flame-retardant. It also offers high chemical resistance, low emissions, and high toughness and stiffness. Note de contenu : - Battery management functions
- Compact, flat, integrated and fire-resistant-certified
- Low emissions and resistant to battery electrolytes
- Two and a half years to use in full-scale production
- FIGURES : 1. The PBT-ASA housing for the battery management unit is very flat compact. The component's function is to control the high-voltage current sensor and insulation monitoring unit in batteries for electric and hybrid vahicles - 2. In the housing of the cell monitoring unit, functions are integrated ( such as contact pins), which is why its geometry is very complex, especially along the edges. The material must have low warpage and even shrinkage - 3. Véhicules électriquesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Electric vehicles can be charged not only at charging stations, but also wirelessly. Here, the energy exchange takes place between an induction coil positioned in the ground and a receiver coil mounted in the e-car. For the system to function reliably, the coils must be protected from damage. Glass fiber-reinforced and flame-retardant PA66 is particularly suitable for this, as the example of a current wireless charging system shows. Note de contenu : - Metal alternatives
- Material selection criteria
- Flowability of the material is decisive
- Support for simulation and design
