Ultrasonics - Activated by ultrasonic vibrations, carbon fiber layers can easily be bonded and formed in a reproducible manner by using a thermoplastic adhesive fabric. Potential savings as a result from the increased level of automation and reduced energy and time consumption make this approach promising to the industry.Note de contenu : - Preform assembly with ultrasonic vibrations

Presses à injecter
StratifiésIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The Swiss company Lumitec specializes in luminous technology. When they could not find an injection molder capable of achieving the high-quality in-mold film lamination required for series production, they got into injection-compression molding more or less “overnight”. Machine builder Arburg supported that goal not only with a specially configured machine, but also and more importantly, with their know-how as application engineers.
