Biomimetic ceramide as hair restructuring agent in PERSONAL CARE EUROPE, Vol. 6, N° 2 (04/2013)
[article]
(Wikipedia)

Based on this fact, the Solabia Group, which has focused on the three skin barriers to date, wanted to diversify its range by targeting the hair system with the development of Rep'hair : a biomimetic ceramide to reinforce hair fibre. Note de contenu : - The hair system : the first protective barrier
- Lipid loss and consequences
- A ceramide like molecule
- Performance : preventive and curative actions : 1. Reduction of damage and surface relief - 2. Improvement of hair gloss - Anti-broken hair and anti-split endsPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=18215

Produits capillairesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Partnering with internal employees and technical experts, Dow has developed a set of six unique formulations designed to provide benefits to highly textured hair.
Dow believes everyone deserves good hair days. So, Dow collaborated with their employees with highly textured hair, Dow’s Global African Affinity Network (GAAN), and technical experts to understand consumers’ barriers in the textured hair care industry and connect this market gap with the broader societal issues. The outcome was a set of six unique formulations designed to provide superior benefits to highly textured hair.
Partnering with internal employees and technical experts revealed how chemistry and employee network groups (ERGs) such as Dow’s Global African Affinity Network (GAAN) can work together to deliver high-performance hair solutions. These solutions not only provide visible benefits but ease the everyday routines and lifestyle frustrations that consumers with highly textured hair face.Note de contenu : - A look at the textured hair care market

Produits capillairesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : It is known that hair growth disorders and hair loss can cause personal distress and affect well‐being. Whilst clinical conditions remain a target for medical research, current research on hair follicle biology and hair growth control mechanisms also provides opportunities for a range of non‐medical and cosmetic interventions that have a modulating effect on the scalp and follicle function. Furthermore, an improvement of the hair fibre characteristics (cuticle structure, cortex size and integrity) could add to the overall positive visual effect of the hair array. Since phytochemicals are a popular choice because of their traditional appeal, this review provides a critical evaluation of the available evidence of their activity for hair benefit, excluding data obtained from animal tests, and offers recommendations on improving study validity and the robustness of data collection in pre‐clinical and clinical studies.
