Mogden, (Formule de)La formule de Mogden exprime une mesure du volume et de la force des effluents industriels utilisés dans la tarification du traitement.
La formule de Mogden est :
C = R + [(V + Bv) ou M] + B (Ot / Os) + S (St / Ss)
où : C = charge par volume d'effluent (£ / m 3 ),
R = frais de réception et de transport [£ / m 3 ]
V = charge de traitement primaire (volumétrique) [£ / m 3 ]
Bv = supplément de volume pour le traitement biologique [£ / m 3 ]
M = redevance de traitement et d'élimination lorsque l'effluent va à l'émissaire [£ / m 3 ]
B = oxydation biologique de la charge d'égout déposée [£ / m 3 ]
Ot = demande chimique en oxygène (DCO) de l'effluent après une heure de décantation au repos à pH 7 [mg / litre]
Os = demande chimique en oxygène (DCO) de l'effluent après une heure de décantation au repos [mg / litre]
S = traitement et élimination de la charge des boues d'épuration primaires [£ / m 3 ou £ / kg]
Produits chimiques -- Consommation -- RéductionIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The Mogden formula, a wastewater calculation that was introduced into the UK and that has been widely adopted or adapted in many other parts of the world, allows a wastewater facility to clculate the cost of water treatment to circumvent the temptation to dilute it to reduce its cost.
The Mogden formula is : C = R + [V + Vb] + B x (Ot/Os) + S x (St/Ss) Eq.1
Where C is the total charge rate for disposal (price cubic metre), R is the unit cost for conveyance (price/cubic metre), Vb is the additional volume charge if there is no biological treatment, B is the unit cost for biological treatment (price/cubic metre), Ot is the COD of the settled sewage (mg/l), S is the unit cost for sludge disposal (price/cubic metre), St is the solids value trade effluent (mg/l), Ss is the solids value of the settled sewage (mg/l).
The Mogden formula (see Equation 1) stopped polluters just adding water to dilute the levels down, as the formula took the pollution index (COD) and the amount of effluent. It meant that wherever possible, the effluents should be left as plants, it allowed better precipitation and allowed a focus in the factory on water reduction and the consequential chemical concentration.Note de contenu : - Concentration effect

Textiles et tissus -- FinitionIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : The PET staple fiber manufacturing sector needs to tackle the water consumption issues for its future sustainability, as it is one of the most water demanding sectors in the textile industry. This paper describes a new spin finish oil with 2 general technical characteristics achieving the benefits of reducing water use, by suppressing the generation of foam in the fiber line as well as by easing the process of wastewater treatment. Of course, this new spin finish oil maintains the same very good performance as found in other products, in terms of fiber manufacturability and spinning mill processability.
