Revêtements en phase aqueuse:Peinture en phase aqueuseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A technology platform was developed crating a new class of nano-modified coating raw materials. For the first time polyisocyanates as well as polyacrylate polyole dispersions containing nanoparticles could be developed, yielding coatings with excellent optical properties concerning gloss and haze without compromising polymer- intrinsic properties like appearance and elasticity. The essential step in this new technology was the specific, chemical modification of the coating raw materials which polyol dispersions on the other hand. Handling was identical to standard raw materials and formulations were easy to use with existing application technology. High scratch resistance in 2K solvent and waterborne clear coat applications at loadings of 10 to 15 % silica in the film could be achieved. Additionally, the corrosion protection properties in pigmented 2K waterborne hydroprimers and topcoats could strongly be improved. Alcool

Revêtement de surfaceIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : By way of background we should introduce the reader to polyurethanes and polyisocyanate chemistry. Polyurethanes are the reaction products of polyisocyanates with many commonly used surface coating polymers. As a result, polyurethane technology embraces a very wide and important spectrum of surface finishing apart from its use in other fields. Note de contenu : - HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Revêtements organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A variety of requirements are nowadays made of innovative binders. It almost goes without saying today that newly developed binders are environmentally compatible. This primarily means that the volatile organic solvent content should be as low as possible. In the last 25 years, the demand fora reduction in solvent levels has been one of the major driving forces behind innovation in the development of novel binders and has led to significant successes, including in the area of waterborne binders and in high sol ids.
However, there is also a need demand arising out of the necessity to meet the increasing cost pressure on the end user. This can be achieved by increasing the productivity in the application process, enabling overall costs to be reduced. Using conventional coating materials these cost-effective coating concepts can only be achieved to a limited extent, or not at all, in manyapplications.Note de contenu : - What is LEAP pasquick ?
