The weight ratios of collagen to PEO were set at 90:10, 80:20 and 70:30. Influences of viscosity and electrical conductivity on the morphology of elec¬trospun nanofibers were investigated. It was proved that nanofibers became finer and finer with the ratio of PEO content increasing. Molecular interac¬tions in collagen-PEO complex and triple helix structure of collagen were also characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). lt was found that the triple helix structures of collagen were well preserved in the nanowoven matrix and there were strong hydrogen bonds between PEO and collagen. The UV curing of printed synthetic leather samples was conducted with gallium and mercury lamps, either singly or in combination, at three different power levels. Chemical changes in the cured films because of the polymerisation of the UV-curing process were analysed by Fourier Transform-infrared spectroscopy, which showed that the polymerisation reaction occurred after UV curing in both the clear and in the pigmented films. The Omnirad 500 photoinitiator is more effective in surface curing and the Omnirad 819 DW photoinitiator is more effective in deep curing. The Omnirad 500 photoinitiator caused the gloss values to drop significantly, especially in the formulation including both photoinitiators, Omnirad 819 DW and Omnirad 500, at a 1:2 ratio, respectively. In the formulation including a higher ratio of the Omnirad 819 DW photoinitiator, higher gloss values were obtained compared with the formulation including a higher ratio of the Omnirad 500 photoinitiator. Considering all the results, the highest gloss value of 20.96 was obtained with samples printed with the formulation of the two photoinitiators at an equal ratio (1:1) cured under a gallium/mercury lamp combination at a power level of 90 W/cm. Moreover, the highest K/S value of 10.86 was obtained with samples printed with the formulation of the two photoinitiators at an equal ratio cured under the gallium lamp at 90 W/cm.

The undercoatings formed on the steel were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) techniques. A commercial paint (Nippon Paint, nonadded Chrome) was used as topcoating. Electrode/electroactive polymer/paint/electrolyte system was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The EIS studies show that during the first 18 days immersion time in 3.5% solution of NaCl, paint/PAn coating has better corrosion resistance than paint/POAn coating while in the final week of immersion time, the pore resistance (R po) and coating capacitance (C c) of paint/POAn are higher and lower than the paint/PAn, respectively.
ThermogravimétrieIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : By using SEM, IR, X-ray, diffraction, DSC, TG, physical and mechanical properties test, the structure and properties of 2 kinds of opaque polyester false-twist textured yarns made by masterbatch spinning and slice spinning were analyzed. The results showed that TiO2 particles had better dispersion and smaller reunite in slice spinning. The infrared spectra of the 2 textured yarns are similar to that of the ordinary polyester fibers. The crystallinity of the textured yarn made by masterbatch spinning is higher than that made by slice spinning. Compared with the ordinary PET fibers, the tenacity and breaking elongation of the 2 polyester fibers are lower, while their friction coefficient are higher. At the same time, both the tenacity and the elongation at break of the textured yarns made by slice spinning are higher than those made by masterbatch spinning, however the friction coefficient is less than that of the masterbatch spinning.
