European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) HQ in Helsinki.
Under the next registration stage, companies making or importing chemicals used in the European Union (EU) of small volumes (one tonne/yr and above) must register these substances by May 31, 2018. For those used in quantities of 10t or more - safety assessments of their use must be pro¬duced. The great majority of substances used in mixtures, such as paints and coatings must be registered under REACH, with polymers being the only major exception.Note de contenu : - Cessation of production fears

These examples demonstrate how research and development efforts have provided improvements and solutions that positively impact human and environmental health and safety. Regulatory mandates and consumer trends will undoubtedly continue to influence R&D and innovation into the future. Note de contenu : - "Green" chemistry, labeling and technology transparence
