These usually contain organic pigments which are susceptible to UV degradation, but it is shown that binder degradation is critical, as it can lead to more titanium dioxide becoming exposed at the surface. A new acrylic binder greatly reduces fading in both accelerated weathering tests and natural exposure. Note de contenu : - Key differences between organic and inorganic pigments
- Why colour fading is not simply pigment degradation
- Test paint formulations and procedures
- Artificial weathering shows importance of binder
- Natural weathering confirms accelerated tests
- Aspects of binder design that minimise fadingEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xBQndZ-iw6GkKaYp4SuIsuJcbmQlNj2_/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=17820
