Polyamide 6
RhéologieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Cast polyamide scrap is currently converted into energy. It does, however, have great potential in the form of reclaimed material. As part of the recycling process, granulated cast PA scrap is mixed with additives and compounded in a twin-screw extruder. This approach produces high-quality extrusion grades of polyamide characterized by high stiffness and strength. Note de contenu : - Production and properties of cast polyamide 6

Recyclage chimique
Note de contenu : - Des matériaux complexes à retraiter
- Le recyclage chimique, un complément aux techniques déjà en place
- Les boucles courtes pour retourner rapidement au polymère
- Les boucles longues pour valoriser les gisements hétérogènes
- La réglementation, catalyseur des prochaines évolutions technologiques

solvantsIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Composite films are successfully used in the packaging industry to reduce the weight of the packaging material and to increase the product shelf life. Thus, they contribute significantly to CO2 reduction. However, due to functional requirements, composite structures often use incompatible plastics, which prevent recycling in proven mechanical re-extrusion processes. Solvent-based recycling processes offer an attractive and technically mature solution to tackle the challenge. Note de contenu : - Physical dissolution of plastics from composite structures

Polyamide 6Index. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : Polyamide 6 is a durable, non-biodegradable plastic that cannot be recycled using conventional approaches. A new way of recycling polyamide (PA) 6 is now being presented by a US team : Using an easiliy accessible lanthanumtrisamido catalyst, PA 6 is depolymerized to the starting monomer e-caprolactam in a highly selective, nearly quantitative, solvent-free manner and at relatively moderate temperatures. As in the unthreading of a pearl necklace, the monomers are gradually released starting from the end of the chain.
