The initiative’s main target is to underline the fact that sustainability is an issue not only of environmental industry. There are huge potentials for this challenging task in machinery and plant engineering too. Note de contenu : - Energy measuring standards promotes transparency

Recyclage (déchets, etc.)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The author explains how adhesives formulated using a good choice of raw materials can ensure that packaging is easily sortable so that it can be recycled.
Packaging recycling has been carried out successfully for decades. To execute the idea of recycling it is necessary to think about a material recycling of theused packaging when designing them.
This means that all additives of the process have to be designed in the way they do not disturb the later material recycling. This is of special importance for adhesives, because they play a decisive role in the production of almost all packaging today.
Even though adhesives due to their small quantity will not be recycled alone, it must be considered that they should not disturb the recyling of the primary materials
Adhesives that consist or organic polymers are normally trouble-free in recycling processes that take place at high temperatures e.g., metal or glass packaging recycling, but the choice of adhesive for plastic and paper packaging is important. The variety of different recycling processes for primary materials influences adhesive technology development. For many recycling processes there are optimised adhesive systems. In recent years many adhesives have been developed, which fulfil the demands of the recycling of plastic packaging.Note de contenu : - Plastic recycling

Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;

Matières plastiques -- RecyclageIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : There is little doubt where we are heading : multilayer packaging will have to become easier to recycle – but what does that mean for the technology ? And what solutions will the market need and accept? Manufacturers of branded goods are not the only ones who will have to rethink their specifications. Note de contenu : - Mr. Baumgartner, you are not only CEO of a large manufacturer of flexible packaging, but since mid-year, you have been Chairman of the Flexible Packaging Europe association. Which materials does this involve ?
- Is this development turning around because plastics have become the subject of criticism ?
- What does monomaterial mean in practice ? We are not talking about 100 percent of a single polymer.
- For years, the trend was towards even more layers and combination of different polymers. Now, we face the challenge of achieving similar properties with monomaterials
- Can your company already offer your customers packaging solutions that meet all the requirements in this respects?
- How do you achieve that ?
- What restrictions still exist ?
- Are over-specifications widespread ?
- Are the customers of the packaging material ready for this ?
- Why has your company built this factory for mono-material PE film, a flagship project for the circular economy, in Asia, not here in Europe, for example ?
- You will have to explain that for us
- Are the manufacturers responsible for this th.emselves ?
- Would you like to see such a system in Europe ?
- It has acquired its value due to legal regulations.
- This often involves food packaging, which also plays an important role in your company. But it is precisely here that use of recycled material is not a trivial matter.
- Where - if not in such packaging - can post-consumer recyclate be used evenmore extensively ?
- Should the authorities loosen up these rules, then ?
- What do these uincertainties and challenges that we have discussed actually mean for you economically ? Are there only regional dips or will growth collapse globally ?
- How is the packaging industry responding to this ?
- Young people in particular will not want to hear that. Have you already experienced any problems attracting new recruits to the companies ?En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d7m9YejWhMrYLEUmEyMNL_z_fSgvZobP/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=33831

Transition vitreuseIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : We fabricated polymer blends of recycled-PC (PC) and recycled-PET (PET) using high-shear processing technology. We also assessed its structure, morphology, and physical properties. Results of DSC measurements show that Tg of PC and Tc of PET shifted to higher temperatures by kneading under high-shear conditions. Results show further that the Tm of PET shifted to a lower temperature. Moreover, compatibilization progressed. TEM observations show that the PET domain was not confirmed completely under the kneading condition of 1 000 min?1/10 s or more. Compatibilization progressed. Tensile test results show that the PET ratio of 30 wt% (1 000 min?1/10 s) has higher breaking strain than neat PC does. Chemical resistance test results obtained by good solvent of PC demonstrated that blending of PET makes PC elution difficult.
