Titre : How humans see colour Type de document : texte imprimé Année de publication : 2019 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : vision des couleurs Index. décimale : 535.6 Couleur Résumé : The authors looks into the fascinating subject on how humans see colour and why colour perception causes so many disagreements.
You might have heard that colour is highly subjective. As a manufacturer for professional spectrophotometer devices, Datacolor is quite familiar with this fact. With this article — we worked together with the editors of xyz — we want to dive with you into the science behind colour perception and the many factors that impact how we see (which, by the way, is not exactly the same as how our friends or neighbours or co-workers see).
The article explores some of the basics of colour vision and perception. We will also go into physical factors that impact colour perception and we'll cover environmental factors.
We hope you'll walk away with a better understanding of why we so often disagree when it comes to colour.Note de contenu : - How we see

RhéologieIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The number of studies on reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOC) content', as well as minimisation or complete elimination of isocyanates in the solventborne 2K PUR coatings has significantly increased over the lest few decades.
The growing demand for coating systems with a limited volatile organic compounds (VOC) content and desire to eliminate toxic isocyanates as curing agents in 2K polyurethane coatings are driving the development and research of alternative («non-isocyanate» NISO-) curing technologies. It is important that physical, mechanical, protective and decorative properties of the new coatings are comparable to those of conventional solventborne 2K polyurethane systems. The non-isocyanate curing coatings must, as far as possible, compensate the drawbacks and limitations of conventional solventborne 2K systems.
The objective was to carry out a comparison study of the properties and performance of conventional solventborne 2K PUR medium and high solid coatings and systems based on different non-isocyanate curing technologies presently available in the coating raw materials market.Note de contenu : - MATERIALS : Isocyanate-based systems (Formluations 1 and 2) - Non-isocyante curing systems (Formulations 3-6)

Stabilité au stockageIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Adhesives are what make wind power possible: the rotor blades — as much as 80m long in newer on-shore wind turbines — consist of two half-shells bonded firmly together with reinforcement elements, known as shear webs. These adhesive bonds are capable of transmitting the powerful forces that arise during turbine operation. Other industrial sectors are turning to modem high-performance adhesives for their joining technologies as well: the automotive industry bonds a variety of materials together and needs crash¬proof bonds. The construction industry is replacing traditional dowels with chemical ones.
For most structural bonds, industry uses adhesives based on epoxy resins, vinyl ester resins or polyurethanes. When using polar, high-performance adhesives, such as those in automated processes, manufacturers introduce rheological additives to modify the flow properties of adhesives as needed, thus ensuring flawless, reproducible application on the bonding surfaces.
