Titre : CMOS technology gaining ground Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Robert Blache, Auteur ; Henning Rost, Auteur Année de publication : 2009 Article en page(s) : p. 54-58 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Printed electronics - For a number of years now, integrated electronic circuits based on electrically conducting and semiconducting organic plastics have been the subject of research and development. With organic p-type semiconductors, the first simple applications such as radio labels for radiofrequency identification tags (RFID) have already been produced. Further substantial improvements in terms of electrical performance, yield and power consumption are expected through the use of two different semiconductor types in the fabrication of integrated circuits (CMOS). These "invisible" touch-keys can be integrated into transparent user interfaces or into curved (3-D) surfaces. This allows decoration and functionality to be combined with maximum design flexibility, e. g. in cars and smartphones. Note de contenu : - Transparent films for touch-keys

Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Polymer electronics - Printed electronics based on new kinds of organic conducting and semi-conducting plastics will in future enable electronics to be put on to virtually any product. It will be done not through the substitution of today's widely used standard electronics based on silicon semi-conductors, but through the generation of electronic intelligence on products that at the moment have no electronics whatsoever. Films plastiques
Matières plastiques dans les équipements électriques et électroniquesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Printed Smart Objects - Radio-activated displays on thin, flexible plastic films are currently the most important innovation in the field of printed electronics. Such devices can be produced inexpensively in large quantities using modern rollto-roll processes. They enhance optically attractive, interactive applications, such as product marketing, brand protection and product authentication, as well as games. Titre : Invisible helpers : Conductive films Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Henning Rost, Auteur ; Jasmin Wörle, Auteur Année de publication : 2010 Article en page(s) : p. 58-61 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Printed electronics - Applications such as displays, touch sensors and ultrathin heating elements contain flexible, optically transparent films with highly electrically conductive coatings. The conductive material normally used for these coatings today is ITO (indium-tin-oxide). However, this material has to be patterned before use in what is generally a time-consuming and costly process. A newly developed process now offers an economic alternative with better functional characteristics. Note de contenu : The "roll-to-roll" process / More economic film coating.
