Réseaux numériques à intégration de servicesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : At a time of increasing complexity in production, efficient and rapid production and decision-making processes are essential in order to remain competitive. A fundamental requirement for this is complete transparency throughout the entire process chain – including in tool and mold making. One option for creating the necessary infrastructure and transparency for rapid and improved decision-making is to use apps. Note de contenu : - Mold-making enables plastics technology

Planification stratégiqueIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The producing industry is increasingly involved in changes due to progressing globalization and derivatization, shorter product lifetimes, and demographic change – with enormous consequences for mold making as well. This is why mold making companies have to continue further development. In actual practice, a so-called 3C approach to "compare, compile, and conduct" has proven effective. Note de contenu : - Changed market conditions for the tool and die industry
- Industrialization, market intelligence, and digital networking
- The necessity for systematic strategy development
- Benchmarking interpretation enables goal-setting
- Figure : Further strategic development is more important than ever for technologically motivated machine tool operations
- Fig. 1 : Opportunities and risks for the tool and die industry due to changed market conditions till 2025
- Fig. 2 : The 3C approach consists of the steps "compare", "compile", and "conduct"
- Fig 3 : Compare : this except from a benchmarking - based on a data bank with more than 1000 data sets of German tool and die manufacturers - is an example of an indicator-based comparison of companies
- Fig. 4 : Compile : as a consequence of benchmarking, concrete fields of action can be derived for the company's operation
- Fig. 5 : Conduct : an optimized planning systematic can shorten lead-in times and increase transparency and productivity in production. This could be concluded from the example of the measures derived herePermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=31434

Matières plastiques -- IndustrieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Unforeseen downtimes in serial production are always accompanied by high costs, making it essential for machines to be serviced in time. Because sensor, transmission and data storage technology have taken a big leap forward in recent years, predictive maintenance has already been realized in some industries, demonstrat-ing a tangible benefit of Industry 4.0. The WZL and the WBA have developed a guideline for this. Note de contenu : - The starting situation
- Structure and objective of the guideline
- Analyse phase : Definition of requirements
- Design phase : Service concepts, sensor technology and digital infrastructure
- Implementation phase : Training of the algorithm
- Results : Improvements in all significant areas
- Fig. 1 : The guideline for the development of predictive maintenance solutions is divided into three phases: analysis, design and implementation
- Fig. 2 : A systematic procedure, here using injection molding production as an example, allows conclusions to be drawn from defect patterns on the component to damage patterns on the tool and corresponding maintenance measures
- Fig. 3 : Process monitoring is used to forecast preventive services and repairs from collected sensor data
- Fig. 4 : A suitable algorithm calculates the imminent violation of pre-viously defined control limits in order to be able to initiate preventive corrective measures

ProductionIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The toolmaking industry of the future is facing significant changes in its range of services and its value creation processes. It is difficult to predict exactly how the collaboration of German tool manufacturers with series production will be structured in the future. However, it can be assumed that digital networking and sustainability will play a key role. Note de contenu : - Digitally connected internally and externally according to requirements
