The date seeds extraction preserves the inherent botanical capital of the date seed and delivers it for the most natural active effect on the skin, resulting in a global anti-ageing effect as well as reduction of dark circles and rosacea.
Ancient date seeds that remained dormant for over 2000 years were able to germinate and grow. The dormins preserving the seed youth for such a long period are able to slow down skin cell proliferation, slow down the biological clock and affect intrinsic ageing factors to maintain skin juvenility. The inherent antioxidant and polyphenols equivalent content of the date seed defends the skin against the effects of environmental ageing factors thereby mitigating extrinsic ageing factors thereby mitigating extrinsic ageing factors. Altogether, this resluts in a globalised anti-ageing effect.
Activation of the alpha-2A adrenergic receptor of smooth muscle cells may result in a vasoconstrictive effect that could lead to improved, homogenous appearance of the skin and reduction of the dark circles and rosacea.Note de contenu : - The source

Produits naturelsIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : One of the strongest trends driving the global skin care market today is skin whitening, lightening and evening of the skin tone. Ever current, this trend dates back as far back as ancient China and Japan, and does not fade with time. To this day whiter, flawless skin complexion is associated with health, nobility, purity and younger perception of age.
It is believed that whiter, more evenly-toned skin can hide physically unattractive facial features create a perception of younger, more beautiful overall appearance. This is why much effort is invested by the cosmetic industry to make skin whitening easier and the products more effective and safe. Thus an alternative, which would be safe, while its scientifically backed activity is well-established, is ever more desired though challenging to find. Towards this goal, IBR presents a novel complex of ingredients – IBR Clearly Bright with effective skin lightening effect. IBR Clearly Bright is a combination of patented actives by IBR Ltd – IBR-Phyto(flu)ene, IBR-Dormin and IBR-Snowflake. Recent clinical findings supports the mechanism of action previously established in vitro of IBR Clearly Bright Complex as an outstanding and effective solution for the challenge of skin whitening, lightening and evening of skin tone.Note de contenu : - THE ACTIVE : CONCEPTS IN BRIEF : The colourless carotenoids phytoene and phytofluene - Narcissus tazetta bulb extract - Leucojum aestivum bulb extract

Fluorescence
Peau -- Soins et hygièneIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Fluorescent materials absorb light energy, and re-emit it at a longer wavelength. Fluorescence is used in a range of industries, including cosmetics. Usually, synthetic substances are employed.
In this article, we present the use of natural, UV activated, fluorescent active ingrédients to deliver instant skin lightening and anti-redness ; and overall skin brightening effects.
In one study, we used the natural green fluorescence of phytoene and phytofluene in the form of IBR-TCLC® (tomate colorless carotenoids), to deliver instant skin lightening and redness reduction. This was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled study using UV and full spectrum light photography and quantitative measures (colorimeter).
In a second study we used the natural blue fluorescence of dragon fruit extract named IBR-Dragon to deliver immediate and long-term overall skin brightening effects using bath photographic dernonstration and quantitative instrumental measurements.
In the studies reported above, we make use of the materials natural UV induced fluorescence, leveraging colour opponency theory to deliver real, measurable, and consumer-perceptible beauty benefits — using natural and safe compounds.Note de contenu : - Preservation of youth and prevention of ageing
