The collaboration of the IPF and the IKV enabled the development of hybrid yarns specifically designed for processing in the fiber-spraying process to reduce inhomogeneities of local weight/unit area and fiber orientation in the preform. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Liquid-conveying conduits. The projectile injection technology is a process variant of the fluid injection technology with which highly integrated hollow moldings can be produced. The use of a projectile allows tubular parts to be produced with good surface finishes and low residual wall thicknesses. The projectile used has a great influence on the part quality. Note de contenu : - Conventional fluid injection technology and PIT - A comparison

Titre : Process set-up through machine learning : Purposefully selected injection molding parameters from simulations and practical experiments Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Christian Hopmann, Auteur ; Matthias Theunissen, Auteur ; Jens Wipperfürth ; Julian Heinisch Année de publication : 2018 Article en page(s) : p. 25-30 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Apprentissage automatique L'apprentissage automatique (en anglais : machine learning, litt.
Matières plastiques -- Moulage par injectionIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Machine learning methods have great potential in production – however, so far only a few concrete application examples exist. For the process set-up in injection molding, machine learning enables objective and specifically optimized parameter settings. Neural networks and a combination of simulations and practical experiments help to find suitable models for the parameter optimization as quickly as possible and independently of the experience of the operator. Note de contenu : - Experience is indispensable
- Combination of both works as a solution ?
- Machine learning methods
- Data basis with simulations as digital shadows
- Identificatioin of suitable regression models
- Neural networks provide more flexibility
- Combined learning reduces the experimental effort

- Fig. 2 : In injection molding experiments and simulations examined test specimens. Besides the part weight, two dimensions have been selected as quantifiable quality criteria
- Fig. 3 : Development of part weights during a central composed design of experiments. The effects of single parameters can be modeled accurately by the simulation whereas the total values of some parameters are over- or underrated

PolypropylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Thermoplastic foam injection molding enables lower melt viscosity due to the addition of blowing agent, which is also attractive for the production of thin-walled packaging. Since injection molded packaging is often decorated through in-mold-labeling, it is important to understand how the blowing agent affects adhesion between the film and the molded part to avoid bubble formation at the interface. Note de contenu : - Lower injection pressure due to the addition of blowing agent and IML
- Influence on Film Adhesion and Optical Appearance
- Influence of blowing agent on molded part warpage
