Ressources renouvelablesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Strength, stiffness and heat resistance are characteristics of natural fibre in common with conventional fillers such as talc and glass fibre but an advantage of natural fibre is lightness. TABWD (Toyota Auto Body WooD) substitutes natural fibre for conventional fillers in order to reduce the weight of materials and components. In Japan, the main natural fibre resource is wood and in TABWD wood flour is used as filler for the fibre reinforced polymer. Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL : Test specimens - Manufacturing the natural fibre-reinforced polymer
- RESULTS : Influence of fibre types on mechanical properties - Investigating the fracture surface of natural fibre composites
- INVESTIGATION OF CAR COMPONENTS

The outstanding thermal stability and weatherability of silicon-based technologies creates films of outstanding durability. Dow Corning 3074 Intermediate and Dow Corning 3037 Intermediate are mutually miscible silicon resins, which allow formulators to tailor the physical properties of the coating film. These resins enable end-users to meet the demanding performance requirements of heat and ambient-cured OEM and industrial maintenance applications. Classically, these have been heat-cured. However, newer types of resin can be cured with catalysts at ambient temperatures. They offer a number of advantages including low viscosity and the ability to coat very large objects. Note de contenu : - Two key types of heat-resistant silicone resins
