The latest development for recyclable and temperature-resistant PET applications for packaging is called CPET-light. Sukano has created a nucleating masterbatch that can be used to extrude a transparent film that is dimensionally stable up to 100 °C. At its in-house Technology Center, Illig tested the result for possible applications. Note de contenu : - Production of transparent cups for hot filling

TackIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion provides high solids at a workable viscosity. Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion gives the adhesive compounders an emulsion base with fast setting speed, high wet tack, excellent machining characteristics, film clarity, adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and excellent heat resistance. The applications for Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion are many. In high performance vinyl laminations, Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion provides the excellent vinyl adhesion with the high solids for less warpage or grain raise in the woods plus excellent heat resistance. In overprint laminations, Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion gives the film clarity necessary for any construction. In bottle labelling and book binding, Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion shows the fast setting speeds and necessary high wet tack.
Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion is a rapid setting adhesive with adhesion characteristics different from any conventional emulsion. Significantly expanding the scope and usefulness of waterborne emulsions, Airflex 7200 Dev copolymer emulsion fits into new niches within the adhesive marketplace.Note de contenu : - Speed of set

Revêtements -- Propriétés mécaniquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Water-based coatings made from WB UV resins, acrylic emulsions, and polyurethane dispersions all are good candidates for industrial wood coatings. They have very good chemical resistance and mechanical propertie. They can be formulated at low VOCs and have low toxicity. They are viable alternatives to solvent-based chemistries.
