Résistance chimiqueIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The presence of fillers causes polymers to age rapidly. The reason is that fillers can render the stabilizers in the formulation ineffective. Extensive studies have shown that the addition of a deactivator based on glycidyl copolymers prevents this. Note de contenu : - Negative influence on stability
- Deactivator eradicates weaknesses

Polyamide 6
RhéologieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Cast polyamide scrap is currently converted into energy. It does, however, have great potential in the form of reclaimed material. As part of the recycling process, granulated cast PA scrap is mixed with additives and compounded in a twin-screw extruder. This approach produces high-quality extrusion grades of polyamide characterized by high stiffness and strength. Note de contenu : - Production and properties of cast polyamide 6
- Recycling of PA6G scrap
- Properties of the recycled material

Note de contenu : - Mécanismes d'évolution photochimique de profilés de PVC pigmentés TiO2
- Mise en évidence de la nature chimique des composés responsables du rosissement

Polymères en médecineIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Materials Testing - Environmental stress cracking is one of the most frequent causes of failure of plastic parts under load. Plastics commonly used in medical technology were tested using various methods as to their resistance to stress cracking in contact with medical fluids. Stabilité thermiqueIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In this work, long glass fibre reinforced polypropylene/intumescent flame retardants (LGFPP/IFR) composites are exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation with wavelength of 340 nm for 0–800 h. The effects of UV ageing on the flame retardancy, thermal stability and mechanical properties of LGFPP/IFR composites are investigated and discussed by limiting oxygen index (LOI), UL–94 test, cone calorimeter test (CCT), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), mechanical properties and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX). A slight variation in LOI values and UL-94 levels are observed, and CCT results display a lower heat release rate for all aged samples. The TGA result also shows that aged samples have a higher degradation temperature with the prolongation of the aging time. EDAX showed higher content of the O, P and N elements on the surface of samples after 600 h ageing, which means partly gathering of IFR particles. The tensile, bending and impact strengths decrease after ageing, and the fracture morphology shows that interface debonding occurs.
