Résumé : |
Psychological stress is present chronically in our lives and impacts the skin, by altering the barrier function and complexion radiance parameters. SILAB got interested in the intimate link between the skin and the nervous system as they use the same language, characterized by the identical expression of mediators and receptors. Oxytocin (OXT), also named the “happy hormone”, is known for its major involvement in stress reduction. It is secreted by keratinocytes and promotes their proliferation. The receptors involved in the OXT signaling pathway are regulated by mineral elements. With this in mind, SILAB decided to select a mineral-rich natural raw material to develop its latest relaxing active ingredient: MYOLINE®. With an efficacy assessed in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo directly on volunteers, this cosmetic natural active ingredient is an anti-stress mineral concentrate for sublimated skin. |
