Résumé : |
In recent years, due to the depletion of fossil fuels and scarcity, as well as fluctuation in supply of petro-based raw materials and somehow monopoly of raw material manufacturers, there has been a need to find out alternative resources. The alternate resource must possess and meet the expected criteria such as - their availability, eco-friendly nature, non- hazardous and that should be within the line of eco-friendly and non- hazardous material. Green initiatives in resin/ specialty chemicals manufacturing focuses on different aspects like use of eco-friendly and bio¬derived raw materials, hazard free or less hazardous solvent combinations in resins/coating solution, less volatile organic content (low-VOC) in resin production and supply. |
