Because these materials are relatively expensive, a 2-phase lubricant system consisting of a POM core with a highly-filled PTFE surface layer seems practical. The first part of this study focuses on the mechanisms of action and the saving potentials of such a system. Note de contenu : - Material selection and compatibility
- Various frictional phases
- Structural analysis and possible failure mechanisms
- Lubricant particle distribution
- 2-phase cube model describes mixed structure
- FIGURES : 1. With an increasing content of solid lubricant, the mechanical properties of slide-modified (PTFE) POM products are reduced. The values were determined with an injection molded rod in a tensile test according to DIN EN ISO 527 -2. An initial wear is required to enable a self-lubricating layer to be formed. This is shown by the three-stage progression of the friction coefficient of POM with a 20% PTFE filing versus PE-UHMW (v=0.33m/s, p=0.22N/mm2) - 3. The scanning electron microscope image of PTFE microparticles in a POM matrix shows that the additive particles are not chemically bonded with the plastic matrix, but are located on top - 4. Structural analysis of flow conditions and shear speeds in the mold. The dimensions were determined on specific samples. The layer thicknesses depend on flow and cooling conditions, and can vary, depending on manufacturer parameters - 5. The 2-phase lubricant system is intended to form and anti-friction coating betweenbase and sliding body - 6. The surface layer - as highly filled with PTFE as possible - is of primary importance for slide modification. The 2-phase cube model according to Faust/clauss was developed to obtain the best possible compromise between mechanical and tribological propertiesEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t4lPjjzhSfu2QlGgUkQdQp4iw-qbdfzW/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=29541
