It was found that the total amount of transdermal absorption of ascorbic acid within 4 hours was B2 > A > B1 > C, in which B2 reached 0.413 µg.mm-2, and the transdermal absorptivity was B2 > A > B1 > C, in which B2 even reached 0.98%. The results showed that the mask could promote the transdermal absorption of ascorbic acid, especially when the lyophilized essence worked together with the mask, the performance and effect of transdermal absorption were more significant, which could provide good suggestions for application in the use of product. Then a polymeric retanning agent, abbreviated as poly(GOMA-MA-VA) was synthesized from GOMA, MA and vinyl acetate (VA) by free radical polymerization. The structures of GOMA and poly(GOMA-MA-VA) were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), simultaneously, the flammability, UV-resistance as well as the thermal stability and mechanical properties of re-tanned leathers were also investigated. Results show that GO grafted by polymer presents well dispersing stability and can penetrate into collagen fibers to form strong combination with fibers. Furthermore, this novel multifunctional retanning agent can efficiently improve the flame retardance, ultraviolet (UV) resistance, thermal stability and mechanical properties of resultant leather. However, the coating of these products is often damaged in daily use which will decrease its aesthetic effect and practicability. Therefore, how to improve the scratch resistance of leather coatings has been puzzling people all the time. It is a common knowledge that animals and plants can repair the injured biological tissues by himself. According to this principle, here, we prepared a type of self-healing water-borne polyurethane with disulfide bond in the main chain by using HEDS as chain extender, and the self-healing system was triggered by the disulfide bonds with the help of shape memory function of waterborne Polyurethane, self-healing experiments how that the damaged of leather coating can be repaired fully at 60 °C for 12 h. Produits chimiques -- MigrationIndex. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : Plasticizer migration is responsible for premature coating failure in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) synthetic materials that continue to benefit our daily life as a reliable and cost-efficient simulant of genuine leather. In this context, the establishment of standard assays that measure the migration rate of plasticizers under varying scenarios plays a pivotal role in comparing durability of those PVC-derived leather-simulants. In this review, multiple methodologies developed over the last decade for determining plasticizer migration from PVC coating are compiled, with their operational principles, merits, and limitations being taken into consideration along with specific apparatus required for each. A concluding section discusses current challenges in this field, and highlights how nuclear magnetic resonance and computational simulation surpass conventional assays in yielding intercomparable results, and hence screening migration-resistant plasticizers in a labor- and time-saving way. Since migration resistance represents a decisive performance indicator of plasticizers, this systematic review may provide guidance to quite a few practitioners in PVC synthetic material industry, who are now engaged in validating various sustainable alternatives with performance allegedly equal to conventional but toxic di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate plasticizer. Tannage Résumé : In a traditional method of chrome tanning, the particle size (PS) of tanning agent is critical for its penetration and the performance of resultant leather. The temperature, pH value and concentration of chrome solution are the important parameters to influence the size scale of the chromium complex. In present study, the PS evolution of chrome tanning agent (CTA) with pH value and temperature changes was investigated firstly, then the influence of the evolution of PS on the tanning process and hydrothermal stability of crust leather was also investigated. The results indicated that with the temperature varied from 25°C to 30°C and 35°C, the pH of the chrome solution increased from 2.5 to 3.8, the PS of CTA increased from 982 nm to 2899 nm, 1265 nm to 3384 nm and 1289 nm to 3630 nm, respectively, showing a rapid increasing tendency. Correspondingly, due to the PS of CTA increased, the chromium absorption rate increased from 31.0% to 53.6% at 25°C, 33.8% to 55.9% at 30°C and 34.5% to 56.4% at 35°C, whilst the uniformity of the chromium distribution in crust leather was gradually reduced. At the same initial tanning temperature, the shrinkage temperature (Ts) of wet blue tend to increase first and then decrease with the increase of the CTA’s PS, and reached above 100°C when the PS was in a range from 2000 nm-2700 nm. As the PS continues to increase, the inner layer was insufficient tanned due to excessive tanning of surface, leading to a decrease in hydrothermal stability of crust leather.
