Ways of producing innovative, lightweight components could be developed from the results as a prerequisite for extending the range of applications of fiber-reinforced composites and for creating new end-uses. The composite constructions could be used in car and machine building and in the chemical, electrical and electronics industries, as well as in the construction, safety, sports and leisure sectors.
