Titre : Copper conductors from the bath : 3-D printing for MIDs Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Malte Borges, Auteur Année de publication : 2015 Article en page(s) : p. 18-21 Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : With laser structuring and subsequent electroless metallization, three-dimensional plastic parts are made into three-dimensional circuit carriers. An innovative feature is the addition of an inexpensive rapid process for manufacturing prototypes to the process chain. Note de contenu : - Three-dimensional circuit carriers

In this work the films are prepared in Petri dishes and are tested in pure form, not applied over a leather surface. In this context, this paper evaluates films prepared with commercial polymeric resins polyurethanes and polyacrylates measuring the properties tensile strength resistance, elongation at break and toughness, the influence of the addition of pigments and its stability to water or organic solvent. The addition of pigments decreased the mechanical resistance for acrylic and polyurethane resins : The stability of the films with respect to water and solvents has shown that water soluble solvent components increased by the presence of pigment and the water absorption is higher and the solvent is lower in pigmented films to acrylates and polyurethanes. Structuration directe par laserIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : 3-D molded Interconnect Devices : Molded Interconnect Devices (MID) have been around for more than ten years. With a market share of well over 50 percent, laser direct structuring is the most important MID production method. This fully additive process combines the flexibility of a laser with a short process chain. Note de contenu : - Potential of three-dimensional molded interconnect devices

Titre : Wobbling like crazy : Laser welding of large plastic components in the quasi-simultaneous method Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Malte Borges, Auteur Année de publication : 2016 Article en page(s) : p. 155-156 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Matières plastiques -- Soudage
Soudage laserIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Laser welding - Either short cycle times or high three-dimensionality and flexibility : That has been the choice up till now during the joining of large components. That there is another way, is shown by a new laser welding process, which is at the threshold of its market launch. Note de contenu : - Laser welding of large components
- Quasi-simultaneous welding
- Which system for which application ?
- FIGURES : 1. Demanding welds : The taillight which is curved on three levels provides also because of its tapered edges high demands on a safe joining process and the visual quality of the weld - 2. Quasi-simultaneous welding : By repeatedly crossing and amplitude matching, a homogeneous melt is formed in the region of the weld - 3. Time/path diagram : The specification can be monitored - 4.
