Construction modulaireIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The automotive industry needs to make the shift from rigid to flexible processes. A new concept for automotive finishing moves away from the traditional production line layout and, for the first time, divides up vehicle painting into boxes or short process sections. This saves time and materials, increases the availability of the paint shop and makes painting more sustainable. Note de contenu : - Different cycle times for different bodies
- Conveyor journeys reduced by two thirds
- Less wastage during colour changes
- Intelligent and flexible logistics
- Ideal for small-and large-scale production
- Fig. 1 : The paint shop of the future is a modular concept consisting of boxes that operate to be adapted easily to meet any requirements
- Fig. 2 : In the high-bay storage system the bodies are sorted intelligently and prepared for AGVs to transport them to the next stage of production
- Fig. 3 : The new painting booth combines exterior and interior painting in one box
- Fig. 4 : A central feature of the new concept is the automated guided vehicles that have been developed especially for use in paint shopsPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35642

VentilationIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A german coating service provider had only three months to install a modern paint shop used to coat plastic parts from the automotive industry. The result is a highly flexible system with three spray booths and state-of-the-art painting robots. Note de contenu : - Compact, flexible systems
- Manual or robot painting
- Flexible painting processes
- Final inspection and quality assurance
- Complex paint supply system
- 60 percent ambient humidity for a perfect paint finish
- Fig. 1 : A view of the new paint shop : The entire production area is raised by 80 centimetres
- Fig. 2 : The first preparation booth with access to the painting robots and dryer. The booth is fully ventilated and fifted with an extraction system
- Fig. 3 : The seven-axis painting robots move through the spray booths on a horizontal rail that is six metres long
- Fig. 4 : The paint supply room is fully air conditioned to keep the paint at a constant temperature de 22 degrees
- After the paint has been applied, tiny air pockets are removed with very fine sandpaper and the parts then undergo a two-stage polishing processPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=33857
