Résumé : |
In the present investigation, a cleaner and eco-friendly method to leather tanning process based on a novel pre-tanning agent (Q16) has been developed. Q16 was synthesized by cyanuric chloride and p-aminobenzoic acid, then detected by Fourier transform infrared (FUR). The combination tannage process of Q16 and chrome (Q16-Cr) was optimized. In comparison with combination tannage of. F-90-Cr and traditional chrome tanning methods, the physico-chemical characteristics including shrinkage temperature, rnechanical properties and organoleptic properties of the tanned leather were analyzed, the micro-morphology of grain surface and cross section which reflect the dispersion and texture of fibre were evaluated. The distribution of chromium in the cross section was detected by Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDAX), and the chromium concentration was also determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry (AES-ICP). The results are shown that the Q16-Cr-tanned leather has better tanning performance even than chrome-tanned leather. The grain surface is smoother and the collagen fibres are well-dispersed. The Q16-Cr tanning method irnproves the absorption degree of chromium, and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is significantly reduced. Hence, this cleaner non-salt pickling method for less chrome tanning process encourages the sustainable development of leather industry and cleaner production. |
