Large-surface components reinforced with natural fibers, which are used for the interior trim of vehicles must be light and strong. In addition, they must be fitted with integral functional elements, and have high-quality surface coatings. Intelligent combination of the processing methods thermoforming, injection molding, and reaction technology enables these complex requirements to be met efficiently. Initial close-to-production tests have confirmed the compound strength of the three processes, and demonstrate their potential for industrial applications. |
