Traction (mécanique)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the manufacturing of RTM structural components, semi-finished textiles can be locally reinforced at different angles using a special weaving procedure. This allows the mechanical properties to be improved in highly stressed areas. Note de contenu : - Glass-fiber-reinforced headlamp bowl with local carbon fiber reinforcement. It was possible to enhance the mechanical properties according to the load orientation through the multi-axial integration of carbon fibers into the basic glass fabric

The properties in multi-axial direction could be further enhanced by increasing the amount of fibers per centimeter during the weaving process - 3. Comparison of the tensile and bending properties of composites with multi-axial reinforcement at 41° and 21°. One reason for the improvement of the mechanical properties is presumably the smaller ondulation of the fibers at 21° - 4. Tungstate de césiumIndex. décimale : 677 Textiles Résumé : Sewing and embroidery yarns containing NIR-absorbing nanopigments as safety markers based on lanthanum hexaboride and cesium tungstate nanoparticles were developed. Homogeneous dispersion of the nanopigments within polyethylene terephthalate (PET) yarns was achieved by appropriate surface modification of the particles. The nanopigments were added in masterbatches to the PET melt for fabrication of partially oriented yarns (POY). These were processed further by drawing and twisting for sewing and embroidery yarns. The safety marking can be detected by NIR-irradiation and visualized by thermal imaging. More detailed analysis of the pigment composition and fiber structure, e.g. by electron microscopy combined with EDX element analysis allows unambiguous verification of the genuineness. Textiles et tissus à usages médicauxIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : DDriven by the increasing demand for technical and medical PET filament yarns within the titer range of up to 300 dtex, processes and means were explored which permit manufacturing of tailor-made special yarns in small lot sizes. Because LOY (low oriented yarn) can neither be sorted for a longer time, nor easily transport, it is not available to the smaller filament yarn processors as raw material. Usability of PET POY (partially oriented yarn), both as standard product and with higher viscosities, as storable and widespread alternative to LOY was examined in the present AiF project (IGF 15566 N). The effects on the yarn characteristics of the yarn heating method during drawing were analyzed e.g. with saturated steam instead of a heated godet. The results are now a part of a retrieval system. The DITF Denkendorf offers its application to enterprises. Note de contenu : - Characterization drawing test (CDT)
