Note de contenu : - Melanin synthesis

Teinture -- Fibres textiles synthétiquesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Nitrogen heterocyclic fluorescent compounds and their possible dyeing pathway on acrylic fabrics was investigated. Their chemical spectral properties, including fluorescence and ultraviolet–visibility, were evaluated in this work. The colour fastness properties of these dyes attributable to light reflection and washing were examined. The CIE L*, a* and b* values after the dyeing process were studied and the colour fastness properties were also determined. Two quinoline derivatives showed stronger fluorescence properties and were also demonstrated to be non-cytotoxic towards human HaCaT skin keratinocytes at a reasonable dose. These results led to speculation that these two compounds could be further used as dyes in various textile applications. Teinture -- Fibres textilesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Silk fabric was dyed with a hemicyanine dye, DHEASPBr-C4, to create the fluorescent silk fabric in this article. The study initially focuses on the dyeing properties of the dyed silk fabric, followed by the reflectance and emission spectra. The results show that the sorption isotherms are the Langmuir type and the dyed silk fabrics using DHEASPBr-C4 have an obvious fluorescent effect in the spectral range 570–720 nm, while their peak locations of ca. 590 nm in the emission spectra are under the excitation of 365 nm. Finally, the CIE coordinates of the dyed silk fabric are discussed in order to investigate further potential applications. Teinture -- Fibres textilesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : The absorption spectra of two hemicyanine fluorescent dyes, namely, trans-4-[p-(N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl))-amino-styryl]-N-ethyl pyridinium bromide (DHEASPBr-C2) and trans-4-[p-(N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl))-amino-styryl]-N-octyl pyridinium bromide (DHEASPBr-C8), were studied at various levels of pH and high temperatures, and were then employed to dye cationic dyeable polyester. Their dyeing properties, fluorescent reflectance and colorimetric properties were explored. The novel fluorescent dyes existed in two forms of monocation and dication in solutions at low pH and high temperature. Overall, the influence of pH on colour depth and the maximum reflectance of dyed cationic dyeable polyester was extremely small. The adsorption mechanism of DHEASPBr-C2 and DHEASPBr-C8 on cationic dyeable polyester fibres was in good accord with the Langmuir type. Compared with DHEASPBr-C2, DHEASPBr-C8 exhibited comparatively faster adsorption rate, higher affinity and dye uptake, while its fluorescence shown by cationic dyeable polyester was slightly weak. Peau -- Soins et hygièneIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Fluorescent materials absorb light energy, and re-emit it at a longer wavelength. Fluorescence is used in a range of industries, including cosmetics. Usually, synthetic substances are employed.
In this article, we present the use of natural, UV activated, fluorescent active ingrédients to deliver instant skin lightening and anti-redness ; and overall skin brightening effects.
In one study, we used the natural green fluorescence of phytoene and phytofluene in the form of IBR-TCLC® (tomate colorless carotenoids), to deliver instant skin lightening and redness reduction. This was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled study using UV and full spectrum light photography and quantitative measures (colorimeter).
In a second study we used the natural blue fluorescence of dragon fruit extract named IBR-Dragon to deliver immediate and long-term overall skin brightening effects using bath photographic dernonstration and quantitative instrumental measurements.
In the studies reported above, we make use of the materials natural UV induced fluorescence, leveraging colour opponency theory to deliver real, measurable, and consumer-perceptible beauty benefits — using natural and safe compounds.Note de contenu : - Preservation of youth and prevention of ageing
