Résumé : |
The process of dispersing of pigments is one of the most fundamental features involved in the manufacture of surface materials. This paper is intended to give an overview of some of the fundamental concepts associated with the subject. It is written with the intention of providing a simple introduction to pigment dispersion and the principles involved without including complex theories and mathematics. Although this paper deals with titanium dioxide pigment, much of the details given apply to most solid dispersion systems. |
